Dear Friend and Supporter,

At BRCTV, our number one priority is our community. This past year, we have again brought the community into your living room. We’ve brought you sports, drama, music, government meetings, and community celebrations from Fishermen’s Festival to Harbor Lights. We’ve expanded our coverage of local events and added new home-grown shows like “Route 27”, “Wuzzup” and “”Cooking with Tancy.” Through our collaboration with Friends of Harbor Theater and the Boothbay Region High School, we presented the region’s first student film festival and created a video production studio at BRHS. We have also expanded our website offerings - now Channel 7 programs can reach you and your loved ones around the globe.

In 2011, we hope to expand our work with students and community organizations and provide even more coverage of local events. However, like a lot of other non-profit organizations, we’ve been having some tough economic times. The Board of Directors has some exciting plans for fund - and fun - raising this year. We continue to rely so much on the annual support of BRCTV members like you. To keep serving you and to improve our video capabilities, we need your financial support now more than ever. 

We hope that you will agree that BRCTV is a valuable member of the community that deserves your support. And, as much as we need your financial support, we continue to need your ideas, your energy, and your enthusiasm for local community television. We encourage you to become a volunteer, produce your own show, or just share your thoughts on how we can better serve the Boothbay Region community.
